Niagara Regional Police are investigating after a Niagara Falls bank was robbed during the day on Friday.
The thief, a masked male, dressed in black, entered a Scotiabank located at 6225 Thorold Stone Rd. at ahout 4:55 p.m.
The thief jumped over the counter and removed money from the open tills before fleeing the scene. The suspect was last seen running west-bound around the rear of the plaza.
No weapons were observed and no one was injured during the incident, said police in a media release.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6″, with a medium build.
