The first and second place winners for the Walker Industries Art Competition will be announced on July 4. The competition, hosted by the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, is part of the organizations 25-year anniversary celebration.

The 25 finalists will be on display from July 4 to Aug. 4 at the Pumphouse. First place will be awarded $2,500 and second will be given $250. The third-place prize, which will be the people’s choice award voted on out of the 25 finalists on display, will also be awarded $250.

Awards will be presented on Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. during art centres 25th anniversary celebration party.
