Police have arrested two former tenants of a rental house in Fort Erie after they allegedly stole a number of items from the residence.

The house, located on Graeber Ave., came fully furnished.

After investigation, police were able to locate the stolen property and arrest the former tenants. 

The stolen property included a number of household items including living room and bedroom furniture.

Michael Hicks, 35, and Anastasia Potter, 30, are both charged with theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Hicks was released with a future court date and Potter was held for a bail hearing.
