First ever Frightmare horror convention comes to Scotiabank Centre

The first-ever “Frightmare in the Falls” horror convention will take over the Scotiabank Convention Centre for two days on Nov. 11 and 12, bringing a mix of everything horror-related, including celebrity guests from classic horror flicks, horror-themed vendors, haunted attractions, and artists.

Celebrity guests include:

Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th VII-X)
Bill Johnson (Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2)
Alex Vincent and Christine Elise (Child’s Play)
Daeg Faerch (Rob Zombie's Halloween)
Dan Yeager (Texas Chainsaw 3D)
Malcolm Danare (Christine)
Mitch Markowitz (Hilarious House of Frightenstein)
WWE Legend Papa Shango

The event also will include attractions such as Paul Jones Effects Studio props from movies like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Orphan Black and other feature film and television productions the studio has been featured on, as well as Haunt Manor’s haunted scream park, a replica of the 1958 Plymouth Fury from the John Carpenter classic Christine, and a cabinet of curiosities with a real mummified human and many other macabre Victorian-era items.

Joe Hart's Creepshow Expo will also be displaying screen-used and prop replicas from both Creepshow and Creepshow 2, to celebrate 35 years of the late George A. Romero's classic anthology film.
