UPDATE: NRPS: Wanted bank robber strikes in Niagara Falls

UPDATE: Police say a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Niagara Falls has been arrested. They say the suspect, Jeffrey Gorsline, was arrested by the Ontario Provincial PoliceĀ in the area of Dryden, Ontario onĀ Monday (Oct. 30).

Jeffrey Gorsline remains in custody at this time for both parole violations and arrest warrants from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police say theyā€™ve identified a man who robbed a Bank of Montreal on Morrison St. in Niagara Falls on Saturday.

The man, identified as 37-year-old Jeffrey Gorsline, entered the bank at around 10:30 a.m. and demanded an undisclosed amount of money from the teller before fleeing the bank.

The suspect was last seen on Morrison St.

Police say Gorsline is also wanted in the Halton Region, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for a series of bank robberies.

There were no injuries as a result of Saturdayā€™s robbery.
