Adult-entertainment star Stormy Daniels is coming to Niagara Falls this Friday and Saturday for the 50th anniversary of the Sundowner strip club.

The choice was an obvious one when thinking of the best way to celebrate a half-century as a landmark in Niagara Falls, said club event manager Larhya Miller.

Some names of other performers were tossed around, she said, but when Daniels was mentioned, everyone “got excited” about the idea. Being a major celebrity, and given her controversial history with U.S. President Donald Trump, Daniels is sure to be a big draw, Miller said.

Daniels is likely the biggest celebrity the club has ever hired, said Miller. She said club management wanted to do something extra special for the business’ 50th birthday.

Attracting American customers was a priority in the decision, too.

Daniels will be at the club for two nights to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

The $40 tickets for the event are now in limited supply, but there are a few left, she said.

The Sundowner is also undergoing major renovations, which include a new logo reflective of the commonly known name for the club (the Downer — DWNR on the new signs), an upgrade of the main club and the addition of a paid-entry room called the Flamingo Room.

The Flamingo Room, adorned with lights and high-powered dimmers, will be for VIP guests, and those who want a little more of a mellow environment, said Miller.

She said staff and the Rudan family, who have owned and operated the business since it started — are both excited about the renovations.
