Drummond Hill Cemetery Tours will once again offer spooky insight into the historic cemetery with night-time guided walking tours on select weekends in October.

On Fridays, Oct. 18 and 19 and Saturdays, Oct. 25 and 26, walkers will be ushered by costumed guides providing first-hand accounts of some infamous residents of Niagara Falls. Tours are based on the journal entries of cemetery sexton William Dalton.

“As the sun sets on the four select dates, you’ll glimpse into the lives–and deaths–of Niagara’s famous and not-so-famous historical figures,” a media release said.

Tours will start at the cemetery gates at Buchner Place off Drummond Road at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and refreshments will be served after each tour.

The tours, which are recommended for age 14 plus, will run rain or shine, so participants are asked to dress for the weather.

Tickets are $12 each and must be purchased in advance by phoning the Niagara Falls History Museum at 905-358-5082 or by visiting the museum at 4810 Ferry St.
