Niagara Parks announces New Year's Eve headliner Bryan Adams with Walk Off the Earth

Niagara Falls will celebrate the 2020 new year Straight from the Heart, with Canadian sensation Bryan Adams headlining this year’s performance at Queen Victoria Park.

The Kingston, Ont., native will be joined by rising Canadian indie pop band Walk Off the Earth, who are back after last year’s death of bandmate Mike “Beard Guy” Taylor.

“Walk Off the Earth is back and plan to use this opportunity to honour and share the extraordinary legacy the Mike left behind,” a Niagara Parks Commission media release said.

The free outdoor concert will kickoff at 8:30 p.m., and the event will feature two fireworks displays, an outdoor liquor-licensed area and a variety of food and drink options by Niagara Parks Culinary will be available.

The first fireworks show, sponsored by Tim Hortons, will start at 9:15 p.m.

The second show will be set off from the Skylon Tower to will ring in the New Year as the clock strikes midnight.

This year’s New Year’s Eve event is organized with the help of many community partners: The Niagara Parks Commission, The City of Niagara Falls, the Tourism Partnership of Niagara, Fallsview Tourist Area, Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, Niagara Falls Hotel and Motel Association, Victoria Centre Tourist Area, Clifton Hill Tourist Area, Lundy's Lane Tourist Area, Skylon Tower, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, and many other stakeholders in Niagara Falls.
