UPDATED: Falls Subway robber wanted

UPDATE: A man has been charged in connection to the robbery of a Subway restaurant in the area of Victoria Ave. and Jepson St. in Niagara Falls.

Police say members of the public helped identify the suspect, which led officers to the suspect's residence located near the Subway restaurant.

A search warrant was executed at the residence on Thursday where police say they located evidence directly related to the offence. 

Charged with robbery is 56-year-old Morgan Bradshaw of Niagara Falls. 

Bradshaw was held in custody pending a bail hearing. 

 

ORIGINAL: Police are searching for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant in Niagara Falls on Monday.

The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m., when a lone male entered a Subway location in the area of Victoria Ave. and Jepson St. armed with a hammer and proceeded to steal the cash register drawer.

The suspect fled on foot.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50-years-old with a slender build. He is approximately 5’10”, clean shaven with balding grey hair. He was wearing a black and blue winter coat, blue jeans and black and white running shoes.
