Manning takes reigns at PBA

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority elected a new chair and vice-chair in February.

This year American Kenneth Manning will replace Canadian Tim Clutterbuck as chair, while Clutterback will serve as vice-chair.

Manning is a partner lawyer at Phillips Lytle LLP in Buffalo and brings experience in education law and corporate and commercial litigation. He was first appointed to the PBA board of directors by New York governor Andrew Cuomo in June 2016.

Clutterbuck was appointed to the PBA board by the government of Canada in February 2017 and served as PBA Chair for the past year. He is the president and chief executive officer of ASW Steel Inc. in Welland, Ontario, as well as chairman of Welland Hydro Electric Holding Corporation and past chairman of the Welland Hydro Electric System Corp.

The Public Bridge Authority is governed by a ten-member board, consisting of five members from Canada and five members from New York State. The chair alternates annually between a Canadian and an American.
